MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson men's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place out of 18 teams in the Guy W. Kuhn Memorial Invitational, hosted by Allegheny at the Country Club of Meadville.

The team carded a 36-hole score of 621 (317-304) and was able to move up four spots from 11th after the first round. McDaniel (314-304-618) finished three strokes ahead of W&J while Wittenberg won the tournament with a team score of 594 (301-293).

Jake Darr (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led the way for the Presidents, turning in a pair of 75s, to finish tied for 11th out of 103 golfers.
Patrick Jonnet (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) finished two strokes behind Darr, after shooting a 78 in the first round and a 73 in the second to finish tied for 18th.

Bryce Egger (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) carded a score of 160, thanks to a six stroke improvement from round one to round two (83-77) to place 60th.
Niklas Steiner (Boonsboro, Md./St. Maria Goretti) shot a 165 (86-79) and had the biggest improvement from round one to two among Presidents.
Casey O'Korn (Canonsburg, Pa./The Linsly School (W.Va.)) rounded out the Presidents lineup as he shot a 168 (81-87).
